Our volunteers are an important and special part of
the N/a‘an ku sê project and without them we could not continue our vital work to make
a difference to the lives of animals and people.
Our vision is an Africa where humans and wildlife can live and thrive
together
Our mission is to conserve the land, cultures and wildlife of Namibia and rescue species threatened
by an ever-shrinking habitat.
By volunteering and giving your time to this special place, you help can help us achieve our vision.
All the money raised through our volunteering program goes directly back into the project which
provides employment, education and accommodation to the local Bushman community and helps to ensure
the rescue, survival and rehabilitation of the animals which are housed in natural environments
around the site.
By volunteering at one of our exciting and innovative projects you will have the opportunity to
make great friends with your fellow volunteers, build special relationships with the animals we
have on the farm and create your own unique African dream. Each of our four projects offers its own
rewards and experience.
We are looking forward to seeing you at N/a‘an ku sê soon!

"My N/a’an ku sê experience has been such a great adventure and sharing in Marlice
and Rudie's dream has definitely changed my life. I learned new things, met great people from all
over the world and I will certainly be coming back!"
Charlotte Seitz, Switzerland - volunteer February 2009
"It was a fantastic opportunity to see how a cheetah capture and release works from beginning to
end, and to see a wild cheetah so close. It is an experience none of us will forget when we return
to our jobs or studies and the relative normality of day to day life. It has been a privilege to
work with a team that cares so deeply about the wild carnivores of Namibia that they dedicate all
of their time and energy to their humane capture and release, and I hope they can continue to do
so for a long time to come."
Eleanor Scully, UK - volunteer March 2009
"My experience at N/a’an ku sê was one of a life time. Both the Bushman Clinic and the
wildlife experience is something I will talk about forever. I think it is important for volunteers
to share with the rest of the world, to raise awareness of our beautiful planet and the beautiful
people who devote their lives to humanity and ecology."
Kathryn Reid, Canada - volunteer September 2008
